Discover Yakitori Moe

Yakitori Moe is a must-visit dining spot nestled in the heart of Roppongi, Tokyo. Located at 3 Chome−8−12 TS Building, 1st floor, this delightful eatery specializes in yakitori, the traditional Japanese dish of grilled chicken skewers, served with an assortment of savory and delicious sides. The cozy ambiance paired with a carefully curated menu makes Yakitori Moe the perfect spot for anyone looking to experience authentic Japanese comfort food.

Upon stepping into Yakitori Moe, you are immediately greeted with the inviting warmth of the space. The interior, though simple, captures the essence of Japanese culinary culture with a touch of modern elegance. Whether you're seated at the bar or at a small table with friends, the atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

The star of the show here is, of course, the yakitori. Yakitori Moe takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients, particularly fresh, locally sourced chicken. Their skewers are grilled to perfection, offering a balanced combination of crispy, smoky, and juicy flavors. One of their standout options is the tare-yaki, where the chicken is brushed with a sweet soy-based sauce before grilling. This caramelized glaze adds a rich, savory depth to each bite, making it an unforgettable experience.

While the yakitori takes center stage, Yakitori Moe also offers a range of other dishes that pair beautifully with the skewers. You can start off with a light appetizer, such as the miso soup, or enjoy some traditional Japanese pickles as a refreshing complement. Another favorite is the chahan (fried rice), which is savory and full of flavor, serving as the perfect side dish to balance the richness of the skewers.

For those who are new to yakitori or seeking to experiment, Yakitori Moe has a variety of options on their menu. You can opt for the standard chicken breast, thigh, or even chicken liver, each offering its own unique flavor and texture. For the adventurous eater, there are also more unusual cuts like gizzard and heart, which bring a deeper, umami-packed experience. The restaurant's attention to detail in grilling these skewers ensures that each piece is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor.

The service at Yakitori Moe is friendly and attentive, with the staff always happy to recommend dishes or explain any unfamiliar items on the menu. It’s clear that the restaurant’s focus is on providing an exceptional dining experience, which is why it has earned praise from both locals and international visitors alike. The owners and chefs take pride in their craft, continually striving to offer the best of yakitori in a city full of culinary delights.

Another notable aspect of Yakitori Moe is its convenient location in Roppongi, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Whether you’re winding down after a busy day of sightseeing or looking for a casual yet delicious meal, this restaurant offers a great escape from the fast-paced city life. It is a perfect spot for both solo diners and groups, with a comfortable atmosphere that allows you to relax and enjoy your meal.

Reviewers consistently praise Yakitori Moe for its outstanding flavors, quality ingredients, and impeccable service. The restaurant has become a local favorite, attracting regular customers who keep coming back for the yakitori and the laid-back vibe. • This Japanese culinary gem offers a perfect blend of simplicity and sophistication. Each skewer showcases the chef's mastery of grilling, with the smoky aroma of char-grilled goodness being utterly irresistible. A particularly memorable spot while in Japan.

  • Walked in at around 6pm and they immediately asked if i have a reservation. I didn’t, but the good thing was, they will let you in and inform you that you can stay only until 8pm. Not a prob since i just want to eat dinner. Great food - one of the best yakitoro i’ve tasted and great service! The staffs were really accommodating. They cooked the egg as per request since i don’t like to eat it raw over rice. The non-alcoholic drink i ordered (white grape juice) was served in a fancy glass wine.. was a really nice touch. Felt like a fine dining xp Highly recommended bbq place if you want to splurge a bit. Quality food and top notch service Arigatou gozaimashita!

  • Had a great time at this Yakitori restaurant! A the different chicken skewers were grilled to perfection! Shoutout to the corn tempura as well - the coating is so light and the corn was still very intact! There was also a great selection of drinks with delicious tasting shochu!

  • We sat front and center at the bar and got to watch the chef prepare each dish. The chicken thigh skewers were excellent, but the standout was the chicken cartilage, absolutely delicious! The chicken and rice soup was also very good. The ambiance was dark yet comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a fun variety of dishes.

  • The best Yakitori with the atmosphere to match it. Feels really authentic and every dish has it its own unique flavour. Highly recommend if you are looking for a Yakitori bar.

  • You can taste all different positions of the chicken here- from the most common chicken breast to the rare like gizzard! Mushrooms are also good choices too???? The environment is a little bit crowded but good vibe

  • Hands down the best chicken yakitoris we ever had. At first, we thought the skewers were a little pricier than most places, but after trying a couple skewers, we had to order more. Each skewer was charcoal grilled to perfection. Our favorite were the chicken thigh and the chicken butt (surprising, i know). But it was honestly the perfect combo of crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The owner was also super friendly. We were seated in a tiny corner at first when we came in, but later on spots opened up and he offered to switch us to the bar sitting where we could see the chefs in action! Much better atmosphere from then on. Also, there is a 1 drink minimum per person, and if you order ramen, they serve you that at the very end after you are done ordering all the rounds of skewers. They do take about 20 mins to cook each round. Overall, they utilize the chicken parts very well and there were some unique chicken parts skewers also.
